Coach Vincent Blue is a former professional baseball player drafted out of Lamar High School (Houston, TX) by the Detroit Tigers in the 2001 MLB Amateur Draft. Vincent is the current Owner/Director of BE Elite Baseball and the Founder/Director of Universal Baseball Players Associaition (UBPA).
Ashlend has played baseball at all levels from youth to college. During his freshman year Ashlend played varsity baseball for Cypress Christian School under Head Coach’s Greg Bretz and David Swan. Where he threw the first no hitter in school history and was one strike away from a perfect game when his catcher was called for catcher’s interference. After finishing his freshman year Ashlend was homeschooled and played three years of high school varsity baseball for the West Houston Thunder under Head Coach’s Ray Booth and aieo Jauregui. He also played three years of college baseball for Lone star college under Head Coach Jason Taylor. Where he was an Academic All American three years in a row. Ashl en. extensive background in baseball includes training under some of the top professional baseball instructors in the country. Ashlend has a vast knowledge in all aspects of the game and specializes in pitching, throwing, and arm care.
Ryan Johnson is from Montclair, VA. He was the ace of the rotation at his high school, St. John Paul the Great Catholic High School. During high school, he trained at Advanced Baseball in Burke, VA with National Pitching Association great Steve Johnson and coaching legend Dr. Tom House. He began his collegiate baseball career at Washington College. However, at the end of his freshman fall, he suffered a season ending hip injury. He then transferred to the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX where he recently graduated from. He currently holds the school record for lowest ERA and was selected for the SCAC Academic Honor Roll throughout his time at UST. He has a background in both personal and athletic training. He ultimately plans to attend chiropractic school, specializing in sports medicine.
Strength and Conditioning
Logan was born and raised in North Carolina. After receiving his Master’s degree in kinesiology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro he joined Wake Forest University as a member of the Sports Performance department There we worked directly with many sports including soccer, baseball, basketball, and football.
He then moved to Houston and joined the staff of Dynamic Sports Training where he had the opportunity to work with professional baseball and football athletes. Today Logan works independently with a wide range of individuals ranging from youth athletes to adults simply looking to maintain their health and well being. He brings with him a depth of knowledge regarding speed and agility development, strength training, and movement pattern correction. When time permits he competes in the sport of weightlifting.
Student Baseball Courses
Come join our introduction courses in 2021 Spring!! Be Elite Baseball is offering courses to all grades 9-12, here students will have the opportunity to learn how to become a Strength Coach, Umpire, or Athletic Trainer. Various fun projects will be given to students to learn more about a field of their choice.
